A rich woman I didn’t remember walked into my nursing home room saying “I FINALLY FOUND YOU!” So, I was just chilling in my room at the retirement home, the one I spent half my life saving up for while working as a cashier at a college cafeteria. I’ve been alone my whole life — never had a husband or kids. The nurse, Sarah, and I were playing cards like we always do after lunch when we noticed through the window this woman walked in. She looked like she stepped right out of some fancy movie, like the wife of a rich businessman. Her face seemed oddly familiar, but I couldn’t quite place it.
