In 2020, Ananda revealed she was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer but avoided regular mammograms due to fear of radiation. She chose holistic treatments over surgery initially, but her cancer progressed to stage IV.
In October 2024, she openly admitted regret about not following medical advice sooner. Her story inspired many, and fans shared messages of love and prayers after her passing, remembering her impact and spirit.
